Can women teach in church?
I've been asked to lead a mixed Bible study. Family disagrees strongly about whether that's right. I want to obey Scripture, not win a gender fight. Where should I start?

Faithful Christians read the relevant passages differently. Study them in context with your church's accountable leadership. Honour gifts of women and men; reject contempt. Romans 16:1-7 shows women active in gospel work; 1 Timothy 2:11-12 is part of the conversation too — don't skip either side.

Read Priscilla and Aquila with Apollos (Acts 18:26) — private/corrective instruction is in the story of the early church.

Women who despise male elders as a class aren't recovering the New Testament either. Mutual honour matters.

Whatever you conclude, pursue love. 1 Corinthians 13 sits next to the gifts chapters for a reason.

Men who mock gifted women aren't defending Scripture; they're often defending ego. That's not 1 Corinthians 12.

If your conscience isn't clear, don't force the role (Romans 14:23). Clarity > platform.
