Spiritual Upbringing (“we”, “us”) provides a faith community for questions, prayer, and testimonies. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account data — email, username, display name, password hash, optional profile fields, and avatar.
- Content you post — questions, answers, prayers, stories, reactions, and optional images.
- Usage data — login activity, notifications preferences, and technical logs needed for security and rate limiting.
- Device tokens — if you use the mobile app and enable push notifications.
How we use information
- Operate the community, deliver notifications and optional email digests.
- Moderate harmful content and enforce community standards.
- Improve reliability and prevent abuse (including rate limits).
- Optional AI assist features process draft text you submit to those tools; they do not replace pastoral care.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Content you publish may be visible to other members (and guests, depending on settings). Service providers that host email, hosting, or push delivery process data only to provide those services.
Your choices
- Update profile and notification preferences in Settings.
- Export a copy of your data or delete your account from Settings → Privacy & data.
- Post anonymously where that option is available.
Retention & security
We retain account and content data while your account is active and as needed for moderation, legal obligations, and backups. We use industry-standard safeguards; no method of transmission is perfectly secure.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). Contact us if you believe a child has created an account.
