Office is mixed faiths / no faith. I don't want to be pushy. Also don't want to be silent forever. What's worked for you?

Do excellent work. Be kind. Share your story when someone asks. Offer to pray carefully. Pushiness usually comes from fear. Colossians 4:5-6 — walk in wisdom toward outsiders; let your speech be gracious, seasoned with salt.

Don't use work time to trap people in debates. Earn trust first. Proverbs 25:11 — a word fitly spoken is like apples of gold.

Keep a short testimony ready under two minutes: before / how I met Jesus / what's changing. Practise once with a friend so you don't freeze.

If HR culture is strict, obey lawful policies and still live visibly Christian: integrity, Sabbath boundaries where possible, no mean humour. Character preaches before sentences do (Matthew 5:16).

1 Peter 3:15 — ready to give a reason for hope, with gentleness and respect. Readiness is not a 40-minute altar call at the printer.

What worked: lunch invitations, remembering kids' names, refusing gossip, and one honest sentence when suffering came up — 'I've been praying; Jesus has carried me through worse.' No brochure.

Pray for one colleague by name daily for a month before you force a conversation. Colossians 4:3 — pray for an open door for the word.
