Before / how I met Jesus / what's changing. Keep it under a few minutes. Centre Him, not the drama of your past. Mark 5:19 — tell how much the Lord has done for you. Ordinary stories count.
It's ok to say 'I'm nervous' — honesty helps listeners trust you.
Write three bullet points on your phone. Blank minds often need scaffolding, not more emotion.
Start with one concrete moment: a verse, a conversation, a prayer answered. Specific beats vague.
If your conversion was quiet, say so. Acts 16 has dramatic and quieter conversions in the same chapter energy across Scripture.
Practise once with a friend. Rehearsal isn't fake; it's stewardship.
