Answer 'I don't know' honestly, then look it up together. Humility disciples better than bluffing.

Don't dump systematic theology in week one. Start with who Jesus is in Mark or John.

Meet weekly. Read a Gospel together. Let them pray out loud (awkward is fine). Get them into church. Model repentance. Belonging matters as much as information. Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:42.

Introduce two mature believers so you're not their only Christian friend.

Warn about old patterns kindly and walk with them — don't police like a project.

Baptism and a local church — don't leave them as a floating convert (Acts 2:41).

Help them tell one friend what happened — early witness strengthens young faith (Mark 5:19).
