Psalm 34, 42, 61, John 11 have carried me through waves. Let people sit with you. You don't owe anyone a 'strong' performance. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 — we grieve, but with hope.

Jesus wept (John 11:35). If the Son of God cried at a grave, your tears aren't unbelief.

If grief turns to can't-function months on end, add counselling. God is not threatened by help.

Keep one ritual: visit, cook her recipe, light a candle and pray thanks for her life. Remembrance can be worship.
