Friend is chronically ill — what do I say?
I'm tired of Christian slogans that sound cruel. How do you pray and help without making it worse?

Undistracted conversation on the calendar. Short daily prayer together. Specific apologies. Small kindnesses. Affection often follows intentional honour — for us it did, slowly.

Care about public life. Hold parties loosely. Vote as someone who answers to Christ. Don't let a tribe disciple you harder than Scripture.
