Calling anxiety at 24
Everyone else seems to “know their calling.” I'm 24 and feel behind. How do you seek God about work without turning calling into a mystical job title?

Calling is mostly faithful presence, not a secret code. Love God, love people, grow gifts, serve the church, walk through open doors with counsel. Colossians 3:23 — work heartily as for the Lord. Your job is one arena, not your whole identity.

Ask: What needs can I meet? What am I good at? What do wise people affirm? What doors are actually open? Calling often shows up at the intersection, not in vibes alone.

I was 24 and panicking too. Ten years later my 'calling' looks like ordinary excellence, mentoring two younger guys, and providing for family. Jeremiah 29:7 — seek the welfare of the city where you are.
