Replace, don't only remove: call one person, read two pages, pray one Psalm. Vacuums refill with scroll.
Pride alert: don't announce your fast to shame others. Matthew 6:16-18 energy applies to digital fasts too.
Ask: after 20 minutes online, am I more loving? If not, that's data (Philippians 4:8 filter).
Use grayscale mode and move apps off the home screen. Friction is grace for weak people.
I deleted apps for 30 days, kept Messenger in browser only for family abroad. Psalm 90:12 — number our days. Scrolling steals days quietly.
If it's addictive-level, tell an accountability partner weekly. James 5:16 still works for phone slavery.
Limits. Unfollow what stirs envy or lust. Replace a scroll slot with a walk or a Psalm. A fast can reset desire; habits keep it free. 1 Corinthians 6:12 — lawful but not helpful; I will not be dominated by anything.
