Secular shows / music — how picky should I be?
Not trying to be the holiness police. Genuinely wondering how you decide what to watch or skip. What questions do you ask yourself?

If it feeds lust or rage, cut it. Matthew 5:29 energy is wisdom, not drama.

Questions I ask: Does this stir love for God or dull it? Does it make sin look normal? Could I thank God for this with a clear conscience? Holiness is freedom, not a hobby of rule-collecting. Philippians 4:8; Romans 14:22-23.

When in doubt, skip. Peace is often guidance (Colossians 3:15).

Different consciences exist (Romans 14). Don't impose your list as gospel — and don't ignore your own conviction.

Watch with awareness — talk about themes afterward if with family.

Replace some entertainment with making/serving/resting outdoors.
