Sabbath when work never stops
Job expects me online basically always. How have you protected rest without getting fired?

I'm a nurse on rotations. I pick another consistent window for worship and sleep instead of dying on 'must be Sunday 9am.' Romans 14:5 — each one should be convinced in his own mind.
Negotiate expectations in writing: response times after 8pm, rotating on-call. Wisdom + courage (Proverbs 13:4 diligence isn't the same as slavery).
If the job structurally forbids any gathered worship and rest long-term, start planning an exit. Your soul isn't expendable (Matthew 16:26).
Don't flex exhaustion as holiness. Martyr complex isn't Mark 6:31 — Jesus told them to rest a while.
Treat rest as obedience when you can: a weekly stop, notifications off where possible, gather with God's people. Sabbath is trust that God runs the world while you sleep. Mark 2:27 — Sabbath was made for man. Hebrews 10:25 — don't neglect meeting together.
Phone auto-reply: 'I'll respond tomorrow; if urgent call X.' Clarity reduces anxiety for everyone.
Use annual leave for retreat, not only tourism. Jesus withdrew to lonely places to pray (Luke 5:16).
