Romans 8 runs roughly: no condemnation (v1) → life in the Spirit (v2-17) → present suffering and future glory (v18-25) → Spirit helps in prayer (v26-27) → God's purpose and love that won't let go (v28-39). Read it in chunks. Underline 'Spirit' and 'love.' Don't rush.

Chunking helped. I was trying to swallow the whole chapter like a pill.

Write a one-sentence summary after each paragraph in your own words. Teaching yourself is how fog lifts.

v28 is not 'everything feels good.' It's God working for good for those who love Him — often toward Christlikeness (v29).

Pair with a trusted commentary or church study — not TikTok theology.

Listen to it audio while walking. Romans is dense; ears + feet helped me.

It does NOT say suffering will stop hurting. It says suffering can't cancel God's love (v35-39). That distinction cleared my fog.

Memorise 8:1 and 8:38-39 first. Those bookends hold the middle.
