“Hearing God” without chasing vibes
I want to be led by the Spirit. I also don't trust every warm feeling. How do you practise this in real life?

Most guidance for me looks like: obey clear commands, seek counsel, choose among moral options with wisdom, trust God with outcomes.

Journal impressions and review later — hindsight trains discernment.

Scripture, wise counsel, and providence over inner impressions. The Spirit won't contradict the Word He inspired. Feelings can come along; they shouldn't drive. John 10:27; Proverbs 15:22; 1 John 4:1 — test the spirits.

If an 'impression' requires shady behaviour, it's not God. Full stop.
