Church community protects you from private mysticism that always agrees with your desires.
Most guidance for me looks like: obey clear commands, seek counsel, choose among moral options with wisdom, trust God with outcomes.
Journal impressions and review later — hindsight trains discernment.
Scripture, wise counsel, and providence over inner impressions. The Spirit won't contradict the Word He inspired. Feelings can come along; they shouldn't drive. John 10:27; Proverbs 15:22; 1 John 4:1 — test the spirits.
If an 'impression' requires shady behaviour, it's not God. Full stop.
Isaiah 30:21 — ears hearing a word behind you — still sits in a life oriented to God's way, not vibes alone.
Peace can confirm; peace can also be complacency. Check against Scripture.
