The fear of not having an answered prayer is the reason why many don't pray...
Why is it so?, because of the mindset of My SIN?.. You start by doubting your prayer if they are being heard by God at all due to SIN, this fear then later leads to prayerlessness.

Prayer is not an activity of this world and the Bible tells us that we are in the world but we are not of the world.
Now THAT is why its hard.
The world gives us a thousand and one reasons not to pray every single time.
You attempt to pray and that's when you remember that you have a deadline for a project or someone calls you for something urgent or you suddenly feel hungry or tired or sleepy...
Its all because of the system. Our flesh stands in the way. Everything about the world we live in stands in the way, and that's why people dont pray even when they know they should.
I think, a lot of people don’t know HOW to pray. It’s almost like a chore to them. People forget that praying is literally speaking/ talking to God. Who is God ? God is your father, friend, husband/wife like he’s somebody that knows you more than anyone and yet you talk to him like a stranger.

I think most people don't know what prayer essentially is, they believe they have to get on their knees, but prayer is a communication between you and God, it's a means where you submit to the father, so I think most people don't pray because they don't understand what prayer is.

Satan knows that there is power in prayer, so he does everything possible to distract and discourage people from praying.
He operates with ignorance, weakness, doubt, unseriousness and all sort of excuses.
Some people only rely on the prayers of servants of God, thinking they are the only one that can pray and get answers.
