Why does some churches fail to celebrate Easter

Why does some churches fail to celebrate Easter being the very essence of our Faith. The Bible says if Christ has not risen, vain is our faith

Well it's their preogrative.
Not celebrating a thing and not acknowledging are two different things.
We don't see any indication of Easter being celebrated amongst the apostles biblically.
But that doesn't mean they didn't acknowledge the resurrection.
Celebrating Easter or not celebrating it is really up to us.
It's not enshrined as a must do biblically.
