What role has Modesty play in our Christian faith as an individual?

A lot of indecency in the world and it feels like Christians have yet to understand what modesty is all about. What can we do as Christians to achieve this?

As Christians, we need to set the right example and live a modest life for others to emulate. Yes, the Bible teaches modesty (1 Timothy 2:9), and this is not only applicable to women, but to all believers in Christ. Modelling modesty is the highest thing we can do as believers to achieve this in a world filled with indecency or immodesty. This is because, many do not read the Bible any longer or pay attention to its teaching, but the epistles known and read by all men are the Believers (2 Corinthians 3:2).

Remember that we are the salt of the earth, and our role, just like salt, is to preserve the earth from decaying (Matthew 5:13).
