Thank you for your submission sir..1 John 4:1-3
[1]Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
[2]Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
[3]And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
You see, it's not just the lyrics that matters but the Spirit behind it. The source of inspiration. In matters like this, we need to be guided and led of the Spirit. As it's written, as many as are led of the Spirit, they are the sons of God (see Romans 8:14)
Thank you sir for your submission sir..Why should a christian sit down to rewrite a worldly song?
I mean changing the words one after the other, looking for words that will rhyme with the original words? At the end, they use the same rhythm and beats to sing it. And people will dance it the same way it is danced. I dare say that both the person who rewrote it and the people who dance to it have long been craving to sing and dance to it in their minds. They just want to fulfill all righteousness by inserting Christian words so that they can be free to sing and dance to it publicly. These people are conformed to the world. They love the things of the world more than the things of God. They want to taste from the pot of God and still not miss anything from the pot of the world. It is very wrong for a Christian to be involved in such things.
Thank you for your submission..
No, it's still from the same source and inspiration (worldy)
