Can Using Marijuana Be Justified If It Strengthens a Marriage?

My spouse and I have been happily married for years. Like many couples, we struggled with keeping the passion alive in our intimacy. We tried everything, including romantic getaways, counseling, and little surprises, but nothing seemed to reignite the spark.

One night, we decided to try smoking marijuana before intimacy, and it completely changed our experience. We felt more connected than ever before. However, we later stopped because we felt guilty as Christians and were unsure if it was right in God’s eyes. Since quitting, our intimacy has gone back to feeling routine, and we honestly miss the closeness we once had.

This makes me wonder. If something brings a husband and wife closer in a loving, committed marriage but is considered wrong by some, should it still be avoided? Could this be a matter of personal conviction, or is it clear that using marijuana, even in a private marital setting, is sinful?

What does the Bible say about this? Could this be a spiritual attack on marriage, or are we just trying to justify our actions? I have a lot of question going on my head. please someone should advice me. thank you

Anything can be justified by anyone. For the true Christian the word of God and the Spirit of God remains our guide.
When Saul the first King of Israel wanted to disobey God's instructions, he justified it saying it was a sacrifice for God. Samuel answer thus:
1 Samuel 15:22-23
[22]And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
[23]For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit. We don't need Marijuana to enjoy intimacy!
Have you considered the effects of this substance on your health?
If you are in fellowship with God, He will heal you and your spouse of any dysfunction in your intimacy but don't rely on the arm of flesh! God can heal the impotent man just like He heal the woman with the issue of blood. These cases are connected to intimacy!
Trust in God. Cast your care on Him. Don't rely on a method that can ultimately ruin your health, destroy the future of your children, alienate you from fellow believers and God!
