There is no doubt that the church we have now is not the direct representation of the church in the book of Acts.
The book of Acts, which was written by Luke, revealed no other thing aside from the ACTIONS of the Apostles and early Christians.
One of the things that made the early church different from what we have now as church is the genuinty of people who are added to the church.
Those who were being added to the church are people who have been saved by Christ, not people who are believed to get salvation when they come into the church, while some will never get the salvation.
This made the continuation of error in the contemporary church.
The early church is the discipleship class that every beliver of Christ attended. The church of Christ now has discipleship as an arm of the church.
We have an excuse for that, "Not everyone will be able to eat meat, some people must feed on milk.
Even those feeding on meat are far from what God wants in us.
Some times ago, I told someone that all ministries in the body of Christ are supposed to be DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES.
May God help His church this time around.
