Should Christians Use Dating Apps?

With so many people meeting online nowadays, I’ve heard some say that those who date foreigners, especially white men, often meet them on dating apps. Is it okay for Christians to use dating apps, or should we simply trust that God will bring the right person into our lives without using them?

Personally, I believe that it's wrong for Christians to use dating apps.

I believe that as long as you're aligned in the will of God for your life, then everything would fall in pleasant places.
We don't have to use such tools just to get the right partner, God would give you His son/daughter as long as you're in alignment with His purpose for you.

Besides, everything happens at the appointed time when you walk with God.

Hmm, this is hard for me to accept, can you help elaborate more please sis, if possible share some instances from the bible.

Thank you and God bless.

Of course.

Let's start with Isaiah 60:22(NIV)
"The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly."

The key word in the verse is: "in its time"
That means whatever that belongs to us or that has been written about us has its own time.

The only thing is that Mr. A time differs from Mr. B time.

If we study the Bible carefully, we'd observe that finding the right partner wasn't hectic like it is now. That's because they remained in the will of God and they believed that God would take care of their needs.

(Genesis 24) Isaac seamlessly found his wife at the appointed time. They didn't have the internet but they still got the perfect match for themselves.
(Genesis 40:14-15) Joseph relied on God to deliver him from his slavery, but at a point He relied on the King's cupbearer but he was disappointed.

When it was time for him to leave the prison, he didn't even need to stress himself. The Lord gave him everything on a platter.

So, Christians don't need dating apps if we believe that God would provide all our needs.

I agree with you. If you are destined to marry a foreigner, God will create a means for you both to meet. A foreigner could visit your environment, school, message you from a group you joined or a friend can link you both together.
But, what say you about Christian dating sites that are all over now, Please? @daughterofzion1_
