The poor understanding most born-again Christians have of faith is apparently why they aren’t living out the virtue.
They think that faith is about taking possession of what isn’t available. To them, faith means bringing into reality what is nonexistent. How wrong they are!
Faith is actually recognising that there is an existence outside the existence you know. That your eyes haven’t seen it, your ears haven’t heard it, nor your heart conceived it doesn’t mean that these things don’t exist. It is actually because they exist that God calls the things that be not as though they were.
This is why the Amplified version of Hebrews 11:1 says, “faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses”.
Faith is what fetches your expectations from the warehouse where they are stored. When you see faith this way it will be easier for you to exercise it, than when you assume it to be what will create the miracles that are originally nonexistent.
